One Week Workshop on Basic Practical Accounting Using Tally 21-25 Nov 2022

Inauguration of weekly workshop on “Basic Practical Accounting using Tally” in the Department of Accounts and Business Statistics. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. The weekly workshop on Tally Accounting organized under RUSA by the Department of Accounting and Business Statistics of Mohanlal Sukhadia University under the direction of I.V. Trivedi was inaugurated in the seminar hall of the College of Commerce. Chairman of the Department of Accounting and Business Statistics, Prof. Welcoming the guests, Shoorveer Singh Bhanawat said that under the new education policy, skill has been placed in a category above knowledge, whereas till now knowledge was always considered to be of top status. Through this workshop, how to apply accounting knowledge through software will be taught. At the beginning of the workshop, the organizing secretary of the department, Assistant Professor Dr. Parul Dashora, presented the outline of 5 days explaining the importance of the workshop and told that the facilitators of the workshop will be CA Dr. Hemant Kadunia and CA Dr. Hitesh Kudal who have good experience in the industry. The chief guest of the function was Prof. RUSA Nodal Officer of Mohanlal Sukhadia University. It was Kanika Sharma. He told that after learning this Tally Accounting, the student can move towards self-employment. Taught to develop entrepreneurship and move towards self-reliance. University Student Welfare Officer Prof. Manju Baghmar praised the department for this skill development event and encouraged the students. During the program Prof. Rajeshwari Narendran, Dr. Shilpa Lodha, Dr. Devendra Shrimali, Dr. Asha Sharma, Dr. Renu Sharma and Mr. Pushparaj Meena were present. 93 participants have registered for this workshop, during the inauguration ceremony a lot of enthusiasm was seen among the participants towards practical knowledge of Tally. In the end, vote of thanks was given by Dr. Shilpa Vardiya, Assistant Professor of the department. The workshop will conclude on 25 November 2022.
